😔We may feel pretty good about ourselves in general, but if we’re honest, we will probably find attitudes in ourselves that show that sin is still living in our hearts: selfishness, greed, envy, jealousy, lack of empathy, lies, self-centeredness… Today, let’s ask God to renew our hearts with His forgiveness.
🤓Bible text of the day: 1 John 1:5-9
📖Read the Bible text of the day,
This is the message we heard from Jesus[a] and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. (1 John 1:5-9, NLT)

👉🏽During our prayer time, let’s focus our attention on asking for forgiveness:
✅Confess anything that is standing in the way of your relationship with God, anything that has become an idol because you love it/them more than God.
✅Pray that God’s kindness and love would lead you and those around you to repentance. Take time to repent of any personal sins.
✅Pray that you would be quick to listen to the Holy Spirit as He leads and convicts you throughout the day.
